What is Kangen® water?

The term Kangen means "return to the origins" in Japanese. Kangen® water is a strongly alkaline water, produced by Enagic ionization and filtration devices. For over 40 years, Kangen® water has been used in Japan to help restore the body's original, alkaline state. Alkaline Kangen water is produced by Enagic alkaline ionization devices that not only filter water, but due to the electrolysis system can improve the properties of water (pH, ORP and microstructure) and can produce up to 7 types of water. Apa Kangen® are o concentraţie ridicată de Hidrogen Molecular (H2). Hidrogenul Molecular este un antioxidant eficient care se difuzează rapid la nivelul membranelor celulare, reduce radicalii liberi şi suprimă de stresul oxidativ. Prin procesul de electroliză, apa de la robinet devine apă Kangen®, bogată în hidrogen. 

Reacțiile de oxidare din organism pot produce radicali liberi. Antioxidanții împiedică aceste reacții, dar ratele crescute de oxidanți și antioxidanți insuficienți în organism provoacă stres oxidativ și distrug sau ucid celulele. Aprovizionarea constantă a surselor externe de antioxidanți ar trebui să facă parte din dieta zilnică pentru a reduce stresul oxidativ și vătămările asociate acestuia. Apa Kangen® are potenţial de oxido-reducere negativ sau ORP.

Apa bogată în hidrogen se caracterizează prin ORP negativ. O valoare ridicată ORP (în numere pozitive) indică faptul că o substanță are un potențial mai mare de oxidare. În termeni generali, pentru oameni, o valoare ORP pozitivă sau ridicată este mai indicată pentru exteriorul corpului (curățare și dezinfectare).
O valoare redusă a ORP (în numere negative) indică faptul că o substanță are un
potențial de antioxidare mai mare și este ideală pentru consum oral.
La fel ca pH-ul, valorile ORP reprezintă o măsură importantă pentru determinarea calității apei.

Kangen® water has a high concentration of Molecular Hydrogen (H2). Molecular Hydrogen is an effective antioxidant that spreads rapidly to cell membranes, reduces free radicals and suppresses oxidative stress. Through the electrolysis process, tap water becomes Kangen® water, rich in hydrogen.

Kangen® water is a powerful antioxidant with values ​​up to -400 (ORP). Consumption of 1.5 liters of Kangen Water is equivalent to consumption of: 38 carrots, 516 apples or 756 bananas. Oxidation reactions in the body can produce free radicals. Antioxidants prevent these reactions, but high rates of oxidants and insufficient antioxidants in the body cause oxidative stress and destroy or kill cells.

Kangen® water is microstructured. Molecular structure has a strong effect on the ability of water to hydrate cells, transport nutrients, eliminate residues, support metabolic processes and support cellular communication.

Kangen® water has negative redox potential or ORP. Hydrogen-rich water is characterized by negative ORP. A high ORP value (in positive numbers) indicates that a substance has a higher oxidation potential. In general terms, for humans, a positive or high ORP value is more suitable for the outside of the body (cleaning and disinfection). A low ORP value (in negative numbers) indicates that a substance has a higher antioxidant potential and is ideal for oral consumption.

Like pH, ORP values ​​are an important measure for determining water quality.
